Morning all.

Just back from seeing the farrier give Itsy some new front shoes. We have decided to leave the backs off and see how she goes. He had been let in the barn and was already 1/2 way through when I got there. And I was early!

She has the vet later to see her teeth. It gives me a chance to ask about Samson too.

I have been awake 1/2 the night because I had a bad nightmare. I left the light on Embarassed but was then paranoid that moths would come in Rolling Eyes

The girls have the car ...
Arthritis
Any tips that you've heard of that helps post here please. As mentioned in the sticky, always seek professional advice regarding any illness. Smile

Aqui mentioned her Gran swearing by cherries.

I've already mentioned on a number of occasions how I was diagnosed with it and given a bleak prognosis. I no longer suffer (x-rays show no arthritis now) after following dietary advice, I never took tablets and don't take them now. I've also, for the most part cut caffeine out apart from the VERY occ ...

I'm away overnight, after dropping T off at her Dig at Stonehenge for a month.  Just away to put Maggie up the top field for a gallop and a bite to eat, and then I can muck out.  See you all tomorrow.

I hope that Itsy has behaved herself overnight Becki.  What did E think of her?  Remember, if she is backing into you, she wants her bottom scratched, daft mare!

How much????!
I found a knitting pattern I'd like to try for a paisley cushion cover. It's meant for Rowan Cotton, but you need 14 balls at £3.50 - £50 for the wool.

Do you think it would work ok if I use DK from my stash instead?

Good morning all. Got up to a lovely warm house, lit the front fire again yesterday! I wonder if we will be having an indian summer?

T has another driving lesson today, K's BF is coming today! Then she goes back with him Saturday for a few days!

Our neighbours buyers want a date for completion, they could be gone in 3 weeks Shocked so all done and dusted in 6 weeks, but they are moving to rented till they find a house!

Might go for a walk this am and then a potter round the garden, I re ...
Tofu making tips.
I found making the tofu easy but I did get a hands on lesson. I found this place that tells you how, also sells a kit pretty cheaply. http://www.wholisticresearch.com/shop/home/m/Shop/id/426/page/1/

It takes about 1hr 30mns to make a good size batch, well over a kilo and very cheap compared to ready made and far superior.

Okara is what is left after you've squeezed out the soya milk, I made UnChicken Nuggets with it found on this site, everyone gave them the thumbs up! [url]http ...

Quick pop in.

Big paperwork day today, after normal cleaning stuff.

Not too many rooms changing over today, so that makes it easier.

Just deciding what to get out for dinner, and getting the post scout camp washing in the machine, before it walks there itself!

DD is off on her first coastal today, and she wants me to wave her off.

I'll be back later.

xx
What have you done in the garden this week?
I've been mostly harvesting this week, a wee tidy up and a bit of dead heading in between rain storms. The weeds aren't too bad, they're starting to die back already.
